Pair of attached cottages. Circa late C18 or early C19. Rendered chalk cob walls with painted brick and stone plinth. Welsh slate hipped roof with red clay hip and ridge tiles; catslide at rear. Red brick axial and end stacks; the axial stack has two slate pots. PLAN: Pair of attached 2-room plan cottages with outshuts added at the rear later in the C19. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3:3 window south front. 9 and 12-pane sashes on the ground floor and small 6-pane sashes on the first floor. Each cottage has a central panelled and glazed door with a wooden trellis porch with a gabled slate roof At the rear the main roof is carried down as a catslide over the single-storey outshut, which has 2-light metal casements and plank doors. INTERIOR: Thin chamfered cross-beams and panelled doors.
