House. Dated 1796. Local Flemish Bond brickwork, M-shaped triple-roman tile roof, coped verges, brick end stacks.
Symmetrical frontage. Two storeys, 3 bays, 12-pane sash windows to first floor virtually flush moulded, 16-pane sash
window to right of ground floor, French windows to left of ground floor; each with rubbed brick voussoirs with a
central stone key. Central door opening, 6-panelled door; pedimented hood on brackets. Central inscribed datestone:-
'John Hooper 1796'. Interior with particularly fine fireplace to right ground floor room, fireplace wall panelled, 2
niche cupboards, ornate chair rail, moulded plaster cornice; inglenook fireplace to left ground floor room, co-eval
fitted settle to each side of the grate. High brick wall at right angles to left of frontage, door opening, plank door,
coursed and squared rubble mounting block to left return.
