metres south of
Livesey Cottage
House row. C18, with later alterations. Red and grey brick in Flemish
bond, chequered except upper section of first floor. Built at right-
angles to road. 2 storeys, garret and cellar, on stone plinth. Plat
band. Dentilled brick eaves cornice. Half-hipped roof with gablet to
right. Brick ridge stack towards each end. Irregular fenestration of
5 casements; four 3-light with segmental heads, and one single-light
towards centre. Segmental heads to ground-floor windows. 4 half-glazed
doors with flat corniced floating hoods; one towards each end and 2
towards centre. Narrow 2-storey addition to rear, with 4 gables. Interior
not inspected. Included for group value.
