House, now a school. Early C18. Coursed squared rubble and
dressed stone, partly rendered. Slate roof. Ashlar dressings.
Coped gable with kneelers. Small coped parapet. Single ridge
and rear wall, 2 gable and 2 side wall stacks. 3 storeys, 4
bays. T-plan. Windows are glazing bar and plain sashes. South
front has central projecting gabled bay with flanking wings. To
left, blocked opening. To its right, glazed door with integral
sash. To right again, gabled glazed timber porch. To right
again, flat roofed single storey addition with parapet and single
C20 casement. Above, a glazing bar sash and 3 plain sashes. To
right, blocked opening. Above again, 3 plain sashes. Return
angle to west has, above blocked opening. East gable has, above
again, a casement. Rear elevation has to left a stair turret and
a recessed bay. To left, a casement and to its right a Venetian
window. To right again, a small casement and 3 sashes. To right
again, single storey addition with slate roof. To left, door and
to right, a casement. Above, 4 casements. Above again, door
flanked by single casement. All fenestration irregularly spaced.
West front has to right, a sash. Above, to left, a sash and to
right, 2 glazing bar lights. Above again, a sash.
