II
War memorial. 1923. Ashlar and polished Cornish granite.
Square plinth of 2 steps. Coved and rebated square base. To
east, bronze tablet with wreath. Above, dedicatory inscription.
Other sides have bronze plaques with lists of names. Above,
tapered shaft with coved and rebated foot. 4 crosses formed in
the head. Bronze sword to east. Inscribed on the 4 sides
'France ... Belgium ... Gallipoli... Italy'.
