Early C19 stone with flanking piers, formerly panelled now rendered, and similar
central gate piers formerly crowned with muted vases. Plain wrought iron gates
with waved cresting and flanking spear head rails with connecting circles and dog
rails. Rendered back wall retaining upper garden terrace with flight of steps
to side also with spear head rails. Important element in street picture.

All the listed buildings on the North Side from Nos 2 to 30 form a good group.
