Formerly an inn, the Old Angel, now a house. Early C15 timber framed hall house with crosswing to north, altered and with large extension to north in laterC20, Timberframed, plastered with tiled roof and brick chimneystacks. The hall is one bay wide with C20 casement to ground floor and a small gabled dormer above. Large brick stack on south wall. Hall originally continued further to the south. Two storey cross-wing possibly of slightly later date than the hall but with similar carpentry. Jettied front on wooden brackets, shallow 5-light bay window to ground floor with moulded brick base and original moulded window frame. C20 casement to upper floor. North stack has 2 diagonal brick flues. North elevation has old doorway with four centred head. Interior not inspected but said to have original crownpost rafter roof with one moulded crownpost. Large C20 additions to rear.
