Outbuilding of former Offington Manor, said to date back to 1150. Present structure
probably mainly C16-C17. Now stands isolated in modern development. An oblong 2-storey
timber-frame building. Box-frame, with regular grid of vertical and horizontal
timbers beneath steep roof. Irregular fenestration. Main front has 3 casement
windows above and 3 below, together with 2 doors. Small chimney at left gable (with
one-storey lean-to extension beyond). Large, very tall ridge chimney with offsets,
at right end, with one-storey extension beyond, under roof with same ridge height
but longer, steeper slopes, and having 2 casement windows.
