Chaplain's house, now offices. c.1860 for HM Prison, Springfield Road (q.v.).
Stucco over brick; hipped slate roof. Regency style. 3 storeys; symmetrical
3-window range. Panelled double doors set in moulded architrave. Horned 16-pane
sashes and 8-pane second floor sashes set in eaved architraves. Similar 2-bay
side elevations and 3-bay rear addition. Interior: moulded plaster cornices;
dog-leg staircase with stick balusters and moulded newels. Formerly the Chaplain's
house to HM Prison, Springfield Road (q.v.), which was built in 1828.
