Barn. C17, altered, with C18 wing on east side, also altered. Sandstone random rubble with quoins, roof of stone slate and pantiles. L-plan, formed by long retangular ten-bay range on north-south axis with east wing added. West side has large modern wagon doorway to 4th bay, various blocked or altered windows and doors, and stable doors to the ninth and tenth bays; roof of stone slates with pantile patching. North gable wall has inserted door and two windows at ground floor, inserted doorway above, and gable coping. South gable wall has small square window with wooden lintel. Rear has lean-to addition to south end not included in the item, of pantile roof with stone slate eaves course.
Wing attached at north end of east side, eight bays; south side has two basket-arched wagon doorways and a squre-headed wagon doorway between them, with a timber lintel, all blocked; and some blocked slit breathers at a higher level; roof of pantiles above two courses of stone slates. North side has inter alia a large modern wagon entrance.
Interior: fine roof of tie-beam trusses mounted on timber wall plates, with two sets of trenched and overlapped purlins; four trusses at south end have slender raked struts (probably added).
