Large early C19 detached house. Red brick with light headers and wide eaves on paired
modillions. Slate roof. 3 storeys and basements. 4 windows, (southern bay of
red brick added slightly later). Sashes with glazing bars and rubbed red brick
dressings in original 3 bay house. Inset door with stone architrave, cornice and
pilasters. Recessed door up flight of stone steps, 6 panels (top 4 now glazed)
and radial fanlight with tracery.

All the listed buildings in Burton Street form a Group of which Nos 24 to 36 (even)
are of local interest.
