Circa 1825. Grey gault brick, stone plat band. Three storeys and basement,
two windows, sashes with glazing bars; No 2 has a modern ground floor window.
Nos 1 and 2 have modern shopfronts. All except No 2 have round-headed
doorways. Panelled doors to Nos 3 and 4, modern door on others, fanlights
over. Parapet with stone coping. Slate roof, not visible. (RCHM 225).
Nos 1 to 4, (consec) form a group with Nos 1 to 4 (consec) Bridge Street.
