House, later house and office. Early C18, much altered mid-C20. Rubble brought to course, partly rendered, stone slate roof. Two storeys. Three-rooms in line. Central bay has three-light flat-faced mullioned window. Outer bays have in all three inserted doorways and other windows. Coped gable to left with kneelers and star-shaped finial (thought to signify the Knight Templars), three stacks to ridge, two original of ashlar with cyma-moulded cornices. Rear, L-shaped with quoined angle, has mutilated chamfered mullioned and transomed stair-window. This range set forward with doorway with segmental-arched lintel and chamfered surround set in the angle between range to right. Left-hand return wall has former central doorway (now window) with rebated jambs and lintel which must have been approached up a flight of steps originally. Above is three-light flat-faced mullioned window. A once fine building much abused and included for group value.
