817-1/16/24 Footbridge over River Mimram and
railings

II

Footbridge. Mid C19. 3 cast-iron segmental arches with arched
top and pierced spandrels. Cast-iron curb plate. Wrought-iron
handrails with bar uprights and 2 rod rails threaded through;
flat bar handrail with scroll ends. Railings. Mid C19,
restored 1990s. Cast-iron railings with plain spurs, flat bar,
between Tuscan columns with knob finials, cast-iron curb plate
over rebuilt red brick retaining wall, 62 metres in length,
southwards from bridge.
