Pair of town houses in row. c1800. Killas rubble with shallow
segmental arches with keyblocks; concrete tile roof with brick
end stacks. Shallow double-depth plan. 3 storeys over
basement; symmetrical 3-window front. Original 16-pane
hornless sashes with shorter sashes to 2nd floor. Wide flight
of granite steps flanked by iron railings up to central pair
of round-arched doorways; spoked fanlights over original
6-panel doors, all within wide distyle Tuscan porch with
moulded cornice.
INTERIOR not inspected but likely to be of interest.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: granite ashlar forecourt plinth
surmounted by original wrought-iron railings with turned
finials over the stanchions.
