GV II

Row of houses. Early to mid C19. Coursed Portland stone or
rubble, part rendered, brick stacks, slate roofs. In 3 units,
stepped up the hill, and the last unit set back, and at a
slight angle to the remainder.
All in 3 storeys, 2:4:2 windows, 3-light wood casements with
horizontal bar. At ground and first floors the wood lintels
are set below a stopped drip course, which is continuous over
the central 2 windows to the middle unit. There are 4 brick
gable stacks. No.18 has a central plank door and a small late
C20 lean-to to the left, the doors to Nos 14 & 16 are
adjacent, with a glass panel, and with glass lean-to porch
over No.16. The set-back unit to the right, No.12, has an
added lean-to across the front, with a 3-light window without
label, and a door. Return gables are rendered, and there is an
added lean-to to Nos 14-18 across the backs.
