Y H A Cottage.
St Martin's.
Dated 1692 in a plaster panel. White-washed stone rubble, slate roof,
2 low storeys. Small-paned casement windows irregularly spaced (6 up,
5 down in original farmhouse, now the Old Farm Cottage and Y H A Cottage),
and two modern glazed doors. St Martin's adjoins to right, and is slightly
higher, white-washed, with small gabled porch, one small-paned casement
window on ground floor and two 16-paned sashes above. A rear wing. Omit
the Youth Hostel itself, which is a later building to the left.
