Detached cottage. Early C19. Front rendered, gables coursed
squared stone, back rubble, brick stacks, slate roof. Small
house set gable to road, and facing The School (qv), for which
it was the teacher's dwelling.
2 storeys, 2 windows; 3-light small-pane wood casements with
4-centre heads to the lights, under dropped label courses at
ground floor. Central panelled, part-glazed C19 door under a
gabled hood with decorative barge-board, on brackets. Gable
end to street has a small plinth. Back is 3-windowed, various
2-light casements, and stable type door at the right. The
inner gable has an attached one-storey lean-to, with plank
door to the front, and further door at rear.
