2 houses at end of terrace. c1808 (RCHME). Rendered,
asbestos-cement slate mansard roofs.
2 storeys and attic, each 1-windowed; 4-pane sashes, including
a raking dormer. No.5 has a segmental head to the ground floor
sash. To the left of each an arched doorway with reveals over
an early door and painted-over fanlight. To the right of each
a rendered stack, and with a lean-to across the back.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
HISTORICAL NOTE: built on Corporation land to a lease of 1807,
at the same time as Nos 1-3 (qv) adjoining, but with separate
roofs, of lesser span than those.
