3 cottages attached to The Old Swan (qv), and at right angles
to the road. Early to mid C19. Squared and coursed stone,
slate roof. 2 storeys; the upper level has three 4-pane sashes
in flush boxes and brick dressings including haunched
segmental heads. At ground floor No.565 has a 4-pane, and a
flat-roofed extension over the door, No.563 has a C20 door
under a small inserted first-floor light. The gable to the
road has a sash at each floor, and the low-pitched hipped roof
has 2 ridge stacks. INTERIOR: not inspected.
