C17 or earlier timber-framed back range with high pitched tiled roof and tile hung first floor having long runs of small leaded casemnts. Ground floor completely glazed, between projecting later gabled wings. No 3 has a mid C19 red brick wing with carved and scalloped bargeboards. On first floor a sash window with glazing bars; and an imitation early C19 shop front below. The projecting wings of No 5 are tile hung above, brick below, with similar windows and shop fronts.
