Early C19 3-bay villa with later C19 left bay added. 2 storeys. Painted brick.
Low pitched hipped slate roof with eaves soffit. Recessed sash windows, with
glazing bars, under segmental brick arches. Centre 6-panel door, top glazed,
in doorcase with panelled jambs, lion heads at angles and cornice hood. At
north corner a quadrant glazed cafe entrance. Late C19 rear extensions. Stakes
house is 2 right bays of original villa, plus the back extensions; Stakes Edge
is the left bay plus the left extension.
