Shooting Box or banqueting house. Late C18. Built for Captain Wilson. Coursed dressed stone. Square plan. Plinth and moulded stone eaves cornice. Single storey. West front has single doorway and the three remaining fronts each have a single window opening. Topped by square stone ogee dome wieh ball finial. Interior has no fittings.
This building was built to shelter members of the local gentry who visited this romantic spot for picnics or for shooting.
