II

Row of three estate cottages, now one house, 1860, red brick with
imitation stone slate roofs. l½ storeys, U-plan with slightly
projected gabled centre and projecting gabled wings. Picturesque
Tudor style with stone mullion leaded windows, some replaced by
casements. Large clustered stacks in angles of front range.
Cogged brick string course. Centre gable has leaded casement pair
over door in flush stone Tudor-arched surround. To left, ground
floor 4-light mullion window with 2-light above under gablet. To
right 2-light mullion window. Wings have end wall 3-light ground
floor windows and casement pairs above. Ground floor windows have
cambered relieving arches throughout. Side walls each have 2-
storey gabled projection with Tudor-arched door and 2-light above.
Two-light ground floor window each side.
