Timber framed house of 3 builds. The oldest part seen at back, may be a mediaeval
hall. One wall has openings with carved heads suggesting screens passage.
Right part of circa 1600, left part later, C19 additions behind. 2 storeys,
4 windows in all, irregular. Tiled roo Taller right part, hipped at end, has
central chimney stack with rebated angles. Gable faces road to left of centre.
Walls now rendered. Square paned casement windows. 2 modern square bay windows.
Inside much stout exposed timber and double inglenook. Side purlin roofs.
Brick bread oven behind.
