One large bank building with front curved into Corporation Street. Dated 1857
in panel to right of Fore Street front. 3 storeys. Ashlar. Slate roof. Deep
cornice with brackets, parapet. Banded pilasters to curved corner and Corporation
Street elevations only. 12 windows (7 towards Fore Street). Moulded architrave
surrounds, mixture of plain cornices and segmental pediments on consoles over 1st
floor windows. Sill band under 1st floor, cornice over ground floor. Ground floor
openings (corresponding with windows above) have round heads, impost stringcourse
and carved keystones. Sashes without glazing bars. 2 entrances on Fore Street
With double 4-panel doors. 2 storey extension to left on Corporation Street.

No 1A Billet Street, No 66 The County Hotel, the Brendon Bar and No "8ยจ East Street,
form an important group with the listed buildings in Cheapside, Fore Street and the
Parade.
