Farmhouse and cottage. Mid C17th; possible remodelling of earlier building.
Rubble; modern tiled roof with coped raised verges. L plan. Garden elevation.
2 storeys. 3 bays with projecting 2 storey gabled porch to left. Mixed
fenestration, mostly 3- and 4-light casements with ovolo moulded mullions and
casements; one 5-light window on ground floor under drip mould; one glazing bar
sash window to right. Modern door in porch; ovolo/ogee moulded surround with
4-centred arch lintel, shields in spandrels; under drip mould. Rear elevation
has modern casements and porch. Rear wing (Monmouth Cottage) has 2 modern
casements. Interior: Cross-passage with 2 rooms to right, one to left with
panelled, plain chamfered flame ceiling.
