SU 65 SW BASINGSTOKE WINCHESTER ROAD

C18, early C19. An earlier house, added to and refaced at a later period, to
produce irregular facades of 2 storeys. Hipped slate roofing, with eaves at
north wing. Cement faced walling, with high parapet with coping and a moulded
band, plinth. Sashes in reveals, most being in groups of 3 in semi-circular
fall-height walls. The entrance unit, in a large segmental bow wall,has a sash
window above a plain Order of coupled plasters; the mouldings being of small
projection the entrance on the west side is in another semi-circular wall.
