GV II

House: c1840. Flemish bond orange brick with yellow headers, hipped
Welsh slate roof and 2 brick chimneys. Double-pile plan. 2-storey
symmetrical 3-bay front. End bays have semi-circular headed sashes
with glazing bars in slight recess below. Cast iron baskets with
palmettes, on the sills. 12-pane sashes above with flat gauged and
rubbed brick heads. Central bay is slightly set back and has a heavy
stone doorcase, with plain pilasters and a flat hood, approached by 3
stone steps.
