Probably timber-framed building. Tiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. North-south
wing and higher east-west wing so that the roof rises to a peak at the southern
end. 2 dormer windows. 3 sash windows with glazing bars intact and with
boxes showing on 1st floor; 2 3-light sash windows on ground floor with side
lights. Central doorway. A former coaching inn for coaches travelling from
London to the coast.
