Farmhouse with attached stables. House dated 'NC-1725'; stable
probably early C19. House: roughcast stone with slate and C20
tile roof. Stable: exposed rubble, graduated slate roof. House
of 2 storeys and 3 windows to 1st floor on right of 2-storey,
3-bay stables. House: part-glazed 6-panel door under moulded
sandstone slab on shaped brackets (date plaque on lintel
resited from wall above). Double sashes to each side have
raised surrounds and large-section mullions; boarded door to
far right. 1st floor: 3 plain sashes in raised surrounds; 4
shaped, stone gutter brackets. Brick end stacks; roof over
right end is set lower. Stables: large quoins on left; 4
boarded windows with slate sills and lintels; door on right. 2
slit vents to 1st floor; boarded-up taking-in door on right.
Shaped kneelers and copings to left gable. INTERIOR of
stables: wooden stalls probably early C19.
