House and attached cottage. Early C17. Red brick base; large timber-framing;
rendered infill; old plain-tile roof; brick ridge stack to left of centre.
L-shaped plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range at right angles to street.
C20 door to C20 porch to right. Sash door to left of centre. Irregular
fenestration of casements. 2 wood mullioned windows to first floor centre and
left of centre. 3 gabled dormers. 12-pane unhorned sash to left return ground
floor. Double queen-post roof truss to gable end. Interior not inspected.
Cottage to rear: C19, possibly encasing earlier structure. Painted brick; old
plain-tile roof; brick central ridge stack. Single storey and attic; 2-window
range. Plank door to centre. 3-light wood casements to left and right. 2 gabled
dormers.
