Cottage with attached garden walls. c1800, altered C20.
Uncoursed sandstone rubble painted white. Slate roof. Chimney
stack to left. Double-depth plan.
3 storeys and one bay at the front, 2 storeys at the rear.
Doorway to the right with light wooden porch, under a massive
lintel run out to the left over a blocked former opening
(perhaps also a doorway or part of a formerly wide doorway). A
2-light casement offset to the left of this at ground floor,
and one similar window on each floor above, the upper very
small.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: garden wall attached to the front
enclosing large coursed sandstone rubble painted white, approx
1m high, with ridged coping. Included for group value.
