House. Earlier C16, altered earlier C17. Timber frame,
roughcast, old tile roof. 2 storeys with 2 gabled attics, all
windows modern casements. L plan, the front range 3 bays, W 2
bays with jettied 1st floor on curved brackets. C17 chimneystack
near W end with attached shafts. Modern, half-timbered,
pargetted and tiled porch on brick base towards E. C17 rear
extension on E, L bay, with separate roof and large chimneystack
with diagonal mullions. Weatherboarded W side with gabled
dormer. Interior had 2 storeyed, C16, end bays with upper floor
curved braces. Smoked rafters in centre bay. Earlier C17 floor
beams. Remains of wet moat.
