Pair of houses. c1825. Brown brick. Roof not visible but
probably slate. 3 storeys, each in 2 bays. Doorways set to
right. No.89 has a panelled door with moulded central roundel
under a 7-vaned fanlight. Doorcase formed of 2 engaged fluted
Ionic columns supporting block entablatures and plain hood.
No.90 entered through a panelled door with overlight, its hood
on scrolled consoles. Stucco string course at first floor with
Vitruvian scroll decoration. No.89 with sash windows complete
with glazing bars and gauged skewback arches. No.90 lit
through late C20 top-hung imitation sashes. Stacks to south
and centre.
