Cottage and museum. Datestone I M 1682 in south wall but
altered and
extended by one bay in early C19 and C20. Built of Isle of
Wight stone rubble with thatched roof and end brick
chimneystacks. 1 1/2 to 2 storeys; 3 windows. 2 eyebrow
dormers. Windows are C20 casements. Left side gabled, thatched
porch with trelliswork and early C19 6 panelled double door.
Right side early C19 door, the top 2 panels glazed. Deep
plinth to left hand part. Stone fireplace with brick breadoven
reported.
