House. Early/mid C19. Coursed limestone rubble, Ham Hill stone
lower courses, cills and doorcase; slate roof with stepped
stone coping and brick stacks to gable ends. Double-depth
plan. 2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range. Flat gauged stone
arches over 8/8-pane sashes; the 6-panel door is glazed to the
top, below a semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars and some
remaining ornament. The doorcase is recessed with plain
imposts to the archivolt. INTERIOR not inspected. SUBSIDIARY
FEATURES: a low limestone rubble forecourt wall with Ham Hill
stone capping, support spearhead railings. HISTORY:
Gouldsbrook Terrace, the new road into Goulds Barton, was laid
before 1841.
