Water tower. Opened 1880, for the Frith Hill Godalming and Farncombe
Water Co Ltd. Coursed Bargate rubblestone with red-brick quoins, banding and
decoration. Castellated. 2 stages. Square on plan, each side of upper stage
with corbelled central bow. Octagonal corner stair turret to upper stage. Tall
pointed arch to each side of lower stage with impost moulding and brick band
rising as hood over each arch. Upper stage has one vent and one circular light
to each bow. Ladders give access to upper stage.
