House, now two cottages. Early C19 with C20 extensions to left and rear. Yellow
stock brick front with red brick return walls and low pitched hipped slate roofs.
Two storeys with square, red brick stacks under dentilled tops to front and rear
on the left hand side, further stack to right. Pedimented central bay with
lunette window and plat band to deep eaves. Three 12-pane glazing-bar sash
windows to first floor, that to centre with wooden canopy, all under gauged-brick
heads,canted bay sash windows with moulded wood surrounds on outer bays of ground
floor. 12-pane glazing-bar sash window with canopy to centre of ground floor.
C19 five panel door under fanlight and in round-arched trellis porch to left of
centre (The Rowans). Further, glazed door to left. Two-storey extension to
left end has one 12-pane glazing-bar sash window over C20 panelled door with
margin lights and fluted jambs.
