House, now shops and offices. Late C19. Brown brick with red brick and stone
dressings, wooden shop front across the ground floor. Plain-tiled roof obscured
by stone-coped parapet. Three storeys and attic with cornices across the first
and second floors, the lower one decorated with arcading, the upper cornice
bracketed. Small string course over attic storey flanked by small end rainwater
heads and down pipes, larger decorative rainwater heads and down pipes on first
and second floors. Two bay regular front. Two 6-pane glazing-bar sash windows
on attic storey in cambered-head architrave surround. Two plate sashes on second
floor under segmental heads decorated with alternate red brick and painted stone
blocks. "Two round-headed first floor plate sashes under similar, but keystoned
heads and with carved patterned stone semi-circular panels over windows. Wooden
shop front across the ground floor with 6 glazed panels under fascia board and
two plate windows, one either side of deep central recess.
