Cottage. Late C17, remodelled in C19 and restored in C20. Timber framed of thin
scantling, with brick infilling; some C20 brick infilling on left hand return
front. Plain tiled roof, under ridge crest and with C19 scalloped bargeboards on
gable ends. At right angles to street. One storey and attics under two half-
dormers to each side; two framed bays. Stacks to ends, that facing the street
with crowsteps and corbelled top. C19, lattice pattern glazing bars to casement
fenestration with two windows on each floor of each side, additional between-
floors window to left. Door in gabled brick porch to right of stack on entrance
end with rusticated piers and shield crest in tympanum.
