Late C16. Good 2-storeyed house of timber frame and plaster. 3 modern leaded
plain transomed 6-light casements, above and below. Early C18 8-fielded-panelled
door with restored or modern hood on modillions. The timber framing is partly
of quadrant studding, Moulded wood eaves; old tiles. Side brick stack with
stone angle dressings; the upper portion is of enriched and panelled brickwork
of the time of Queen Anne. Gabled ends. Gabled bays at rear.

Nos 36 to 44 (even) form a good group.
