Houses. C19. Stucco; hipped Welsh slate roof; cross-axial
brick ridge stack; brick stack to right centre front.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 4-window range: 2 French windows with
casements, to cast-iron verandah; flanked, in advanced bays,
by late C19, 2/2 sashes; deep bracketed eaves. Similar French
windows to ground floor, flanked by canted bays with 1/1: 2/2:
1/1 casements, under deep moulded cornices. Left and right
returned sides: part-glazed panelled doors and side-lights,
under porticos; flanked by 2/2 casements; sashes over.
INTERIOR: No.50 (Eden Holme): winder staircase with turned
balusters and moulded rail; cluster-newel; rear winder stairs.
1st floor: two C19 fireplaces; frieze; 4-panel doors with
architraves. Ground floor: 4-panel doors with architraves;
marble fireplace; ceiling cornice; shutters and panelled
reveals to windows. Cellar: stone-lined; plank door; wine
bins. No.52 (Gwynfa): not inspected, but seen to contain
similar stairs and doors.
