Circa 1880 to north-east of Town Hall and probably built at the same time. Yellow
brick gabled front with modillion cornice returned up gable, rebated brickwork
and moulded brick plinth and string. Two archways with moulded architraves inscribed
"Fire Escape" and "Fire Engine". Decorative and painted terracotta bands an( Doulton
pottery ornaments in gable and plinth. Planned for conversion into museum.
