Cottage, c.1800. Gable front; 1 storey, 1 window. Timber-framed, rendered
Thatched roof with axial chimney of gault brick; bargeboards with carved
soffits. C19 hood-moulded windows with leaded casements. Boarded and
battened entrance door. Believed to be the house of the governor of the
adjacent Workhouse. Group value with the Gildhall.
