House. Probably C16 and early C17. Timber-framing and brick with tile roofs. Comprises two cross-wings aligned north/south with one-bay link. To the east is a parallel range which is C20, of brick with applied timber-framing. Two storeys. The left-hand (east) cross-wing is close-studded with a middle rail and has vertical struts between tie-beam and collar. It is of one bay and has C20 casements, the upper ones interrupting the tie-beam. To the right is a central bay faced in painted brick with a window on the first floor and an open timber porch below. The right-hand cross-wing, also of one bay with C20 casements, is framed in square panels. Chimneys on outer walls of cross-wings. Interior: ground floor ceilings raised, probably in C20. Said to contain a cruck (E Peters), but none visible on ground floor.
