50 metres north west of
- Upper Holling Farmhouse


Barn and cowhouse. Early C19 with C20 alterations. Brick, plain tile roof.
L-plan, barn to north east limb of 5 bays with central threshing floor. English
garden bond brickwork with every fourth header missed as ventilators, dentilled
brick cornice. Barn: central entrance with elliptical head and large cart doors,
roof hipped to right. Interior: flagged threshing floor. Lower Cowhouse: 2
storeys, originally with 6 segmental headed openings on ground floor, now
replaced by C20 windows. Lean-to in angle.
