Cottage. 1847 by F. O'Connor for the National Co-operative Land
Company, later alterations. Rendered random rubble stone walls,
slate roof. Three rooms wide, one deep, single storey: rear
wing. Slightly projecting centre bay towards road: fully glazed
late C20 front door in centre; tall, single pane sashes in
original openings each side, dumb-bell ventilator in gable, plain
bargeboards. Four-pane sashes in wings in original openings.
Hipped roof: chimney left end reduced to stump: chimney rear
centre and rear right. Part of Chartist settlement, listed
principally for historical and sociological reasons.
