Pair of estate cottages. Mid-C19, altered C20. Red brick, slate roofs.
Tudor-Gothic and Swiss Chalet style. Formerly centre block with lower set-
back porch blockx (right hand porch now raised and extended) central stack,
single storey and attic, 3 gabled dormers (formerly 2) with decorative
barge boards and finials, square headed hood moulds, 2-light casements
with lattice glazing, stable door to Woodbury View (left) and altered gable
entry to Rotherfield (right), port hole in place of former doorway, diagonal
plan shafts to stack. One of 2 pairs of estate cottages, group value with
Fox Cottage and No 37 (Meadow View) (qv).
