Formerly a pair of semi-detached houses, now one. Late C18 with
C18 and C19 extensions. Coursed squared and dressed limestone
with dressed stone quoins. Artificial stone slate roof with
ashlar stacks. Rectangular plan to main body with an extension at
right angles rear right. Late C18 extension to the left gable end
of the main body. C20 extension to the left of the latter. Main
body; 2 storeys and attic with two C20 hipped roof dormers. Two
segmental-headed windows one with early leaded panes to the first
floor. Two similar 3-light casements to the ground floor one with
horizontal glazing bars. Pair of segmental-headed doorways at
centre (one now blocked). C19 plank door (now with the upper part
glazed) to the right-hand doorway. Right gable end (facing the
road) with a 2-light metal casement with early leaded panes. Two-
storey extension to the first floor, 2-light wooden casement to the
ground floor, the left with an early cross-mullioned window with
leaded panes to the first floor. Large C20 fixed casement with a
concrete lintel to the ground floor left of a C20 projecting porch.
Gable of C20 extension projects forwards to the left. South
front; two 12-pane sash windows to the right-hand bay of the main
body, both within dressed stone surrounds. Glass door with
glazing bars to the left. C19 extension projects forwards to the
left with a 2-light casement to the ground floor and a 12-pane sash
with a segmental head to the first floor: late C18 extension to
the right, 2 storeys and attic lit by a single 2-light raking
dormer. Cross windows with early leaded panes to the first floor.
Twelve-pane sash within a dressed stone surround to the ground
floor. Round-headed window with radiating glazing bars and a
dressed stone surround to the left-hand bay. 1½ storey C20
extension to the right. Gable-end and lateral stacks with moulded
cappings. Interior not inspected.
